That pretty much sums it up. You look at your fellow Black person in America as "retarded". And why? Because they won't pretend to be white, like you. You want them to assimilate, like you. I will dismiss your rantings and ravings due to your age, and not having being raised in the US, not having to have the "talk" from your parents and so on and so forth. You speak of "looking and acting like thugs". In my day, the Black Panthers were viewed as thugs, and why? They did not assimilate. They were and are Americans, born and bred, but to know avail, were demonized by white folks, scared of their power. You demonize them just as well. You haven't lived long enough to say "white liberals hate the idea of a free black man." I believe your culture honors its elders, correct? Try asking some Black American elders what life has been like for them, being segregated and treated like second class citizens ever since this country was founded. When you do that, then write another essay on your exploration of the Black narrative here in the US. Until then...GET A GRIP.
