you know, i grew up in the bay area in the 60's and 70's. i hung out with black kids and asian kids, where we all were acting like the white kids...but when we were alone, my black friends didn't give a shit when i acted like a had "shaniqua" on the inside. little ole me, a chinese/filipino, japanese spanish kid. you need to calm down. when she starts selling black soul food and selling dreads out of the back of her trunk, then you can talk. as for your "i'm married to an asian women" big effing deal. like that gives you some kind of hall pass for critiques. i'm sure if your counterpart was getting big in her arena, then you might not be pitching a fit if they were mimicking "blackness". ugh...
